I often view relationships like beautiful little plants, which with the right amount of love, attention and nurturing can grow into beautiful strong trees, with sweet fruits and a constant shelter for life. Relationships are very delicate, much like the plants. Harshness either kills the plant, or withers it for life….much like our relationships. Communication is key to any relationship. Even plants grow healthier when we talk to them with love. In our society, those who speak up are often seen as trouble-makers, tattletales, and complainers. Even in personal relationships, we’ve developed into a culture of dishonesty-by-omission, i.e. avoiding conflict and confrontations at all cost, and censoring ourselves even when speaking up would be healthier and more freeing. We often wait – way too long – to say anything, until when we finally speak up, it’s a disaster. After all, if we’ve accumulated either a dozen issues or let the same issue come up a dozen times without saying anything, by the time we do talk, we’re way too upset to communicate clearly and effectively. The negative response we then receive when we explode, causes us to keep things in even more often (we equate explosive sharing with “telling the truth” and think it can only get us into trouble).

This icon is a new speedy way to submit catchy articles, photos, videos etc. to our site. Click on the icon and the "submit news" page, just as you know it, will open.

2. The content section:

The content section (left part of the screen) kind of stayed the same. You can still choose if you want to view the "latest", "popular", "random" or your "favourite" articles, videos, quotes, photos etc. by selecting the corresponding tab at the top of the frame. The functionality of the links remained the same too.

The Life Area Box (at top of sidebar) We've given the individual Life Areas new icons to improve their looks

AND

if you click on a Life Area not only the drop down menu with the associated life areas opens, but right below the Life Area box you’ll now find a new feature displaying selected users who are particularly interested in your selected life area! So quickly make friends with them!

AND

we've even pushed it further and added another feature right below to suggest Life Dreams relating to the Life Area you've chosen. We believe this will inspire you to create your own life dreams or to join the life dreams displayed in the box.

And right below you can still find our "Related Books" section.

If you have questions about our new News page or suggestions on how to improve it further, please don't hesitate to get in touch! We look forward to hearing from you! Have fun, improve your life and live your dreams! Your Enriching-Life Team
